RuralSmart operates a soil moisture monitoring service. We install our moisture probes in your field, and you view the data on line - it couldn’t be more simple.
A range of moisture probe configurations means we can offer the best solution to fit your needs, from perennial horticulture to broadacre cropping. We use the latest wireless technology to maximise flexibility. All installations work well with both single and multiple monitoring sites. For full flexibility, they may also be teamed with the Harvest weather stations.
Perennial Horticulture Configuration
Perfect for orchards and vineyards, we use Sentek Enviroscan Plus moisture probes for our deep rooted perennial horticulture. The high accuracy of the sensors, coupled with the best installation system for getting sensors deeper into the profile makes them a great solution.
Broadacre Cropping Configurations
We use a range of monitoring solutions in broadacre farming, to get the best value solution and a price that allows growers to have multiple monitoring sites in one field. We work together with growers to ensure the best solution for their needs.
Premium service option
To further improve your irrigation program, RuralSmart offers a premium monitoring and interpretation service. Irrigation advice can be supplied based on the probe readings, and presented in a weekly report to managers.
